Here's the engine as it arrived on 4 Jan 2015. There's a certain amount of soil and debris mixed in, due to it sitting out in the open at Woodstock for at least 15 years, and who knows how much longer before that.

The engine is in reasonable condition, though there are some damaged parts and a few small pieces missing like the oiler and one of the rings.

As I disassemble the engine in the following pages, I'll note the parts which must be repaired or re-made.
